Open House for our new 'Passive House' home - March 2 2019
We would like to welcome our friends and neighbours to come and have a look at what we were up to this past summer. No furnace, no fuel tank, no thermostat - no problem! Carbon-free doesn't mean extra expense, exotic architecture or a compromised standard of living. The Passive House design in Huron County moves us close to fossil fuel free reliance with a comfortable, healthy and sustainable home. #passivehouse #Passivhaus
In the end, we need it all. We need:
1. Radical Efficiency- everything we build should use as little energy as possible.
2. Radical Simplicity - everything we build should be as simple as possible.
3. Radical Sufficiency- what do we actually need? What is the least that will do the job? What is enough?
